Dancing with the Stars returns with 12 fan favorites

This year, Dancing with the Stars has been renewed for another season after rumors of the show coming to an end. ABC opted not to continue the years-long tradition of airing twice per year, this year only broadcasting a fall 2019 cycle.

Still, the reality show is back and expected to be better than ever. The cast includes 12 fan favorites, all of them ready to cha-cha their way to victory. These contestants include Season 15 Bachelorette Hannah Brown, super model Christie Brinkley, NBA star Lamar Odom, and even Donald Trump’s former White House press secretary, Sean Spicer. Viewers may also look forward to watching their favorite actors and actresses from beloved shows--The Office’s Kate Flannery, and Queer Eye’s Karamo Brown, as well as artists Lauren Alaina and Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke.

Many may consider this season a new and improved version of the show. For the first time ever, viewers were able to find out during the season premiere’s broadcast which celebrities are paired with their favored professional dancers.

There have also been voting changes, a brand- new ABC set, and a new creative team developing choreography and staging. Along with an amazing cast of celebrities, Season 28 features two new professional ballroom dancers and the return of Peta Murgatroyda, a fan-favorite.

So, make sure you tune in. The season began Sept. 16, and it will continue throughout the month on Mondays from 8- 10 p.m. on ABC or Hulu.
