These lemon pudding cups are one of my favorite things about the holidays! Eating this while spending time with your loved ones will make some of the best holiday memories.
This treat, like many things in life, will require some hard work, but after eating it, you will see how much it is worth the effort!
For this desert you will need the following items:
· 2 large eggs
· 1 Lemon
· 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
· 1 cup of sugar
· 1 cup of whole milk
· Half a teaspoon of vanilla extract
The first step, like most others while baking, is to preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Then position the oven rack to the middle holder. Also, start boiling a pot of water for later.
While waiting for the oven to be ready, separate the egg yolks and whites into two bowls. Then beat the yolks lightly until they are smooth.
Now to work with the lemon, zest it entirely, then juice it into a strainer to make sure you don’t get any seeds and add that to the egg yolks. Again, lightly beat that until it’s nice and smooth.
Slowly mix in the flour and sugar into the mix with a small pinch of salt. Then stir in the vanilla extract and milk.
