What caffeine do you run off of?

Coffee plays a big role in some people’s lives. People all around have been debating whether Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts has better coffee. The question has been asked students and here are their answers.

The holiday season is here, and the weather is becoming colder. Throughout the colder months people need a way to stay warm. This source of warmth can come from many things, but the most common way is with coffee. People are on their way to and from their everyday events and need a place to stop and grab coffee.

The question is where to stop and grab that cup of coffee. The most popular places these days are Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks, and each place can have its own unique characteristics.

A survey was taken of 100 Riverview students to discover which brand of coffee they enjoy the most. The result of the survey, that was posted on Instagram, showed 72 students preferred Starbucks coffee, and 28 students enjoyed Dunkin Donuts coffee more.

Between the stores’ crazy, limited-edition holiday beverages, they pull people in like a magnet all over the world.

“It tastes better and its better quality,” says Franki Mobley-Tarpley ‘21 a student who prefers Starbucks over Dunkin’.

The quality of a coffee determines whether someone decides to go to a certain coffee store. As recorded in the survey, 72 percent of students prefer Starbucks coffee because of the quality of the coffee.

Sometimes folks prefer the taste of Starbucks coffee, while others like Dunkin’s taste better. It is mainly all about opinions some people just prefer one over the other.

“When I taste it, it has more flavor and more coffee flavor,” says Hocking, describing why she likes Dunkin Donut’s better.

Whether you like Dunkin Donuts better or Starbucks better, we can all agree that tasting their fun holiday drinks are a blast to try.
