As I am sure we can all agree, quarantine has been an unexpected turn of events to say the least. As we acclimate to an adjusted schedule of Netflix binging, drawer organizing, video game playing and online learning, it can be difficult to adjust to this new normal. If you are feeling just as stir-crazy and alone as the rest of us, here are some ways to help occupy your time, feel productive and make the very best of this saddening situation.
1) Binge a new show!
A fun way to keep enjoying your favorite Netflix shows and movies is using the chrome browser extension “Netflix Party” which enables a group of friends to tune into the

2) Appreciate these optimal Florida quarantine conditions
Since we live where others vacation, this is the perfect time to self-isolate in the sunshine! If you have a pool at home, or a park and field nearby, enjoy sunbathing with a good book, your online school work, or simply an uplifting playlist.

3) Develop a schedule... and stick to it!
Of course, a schedule to follow everyday can feel monotonous when stuck at home with no real commitments; however, developing a to-do list and a chronology for when you would like to get everything done will allow you to feel much more productive before getting into your binging of an entire season on Netflix until 3 AM. For many students online learning is made possible when they set aside a specific amount of allotted time for their assignments each day. Many have found that getting their work done early in the morning each day can set the tone for yet another, stress-free and relaxing day of quarantine.
