Volleyball ready for season

As the 2018-19 school year begins, this means fall sports are starting up.

The girls’ volleyball team at Riverview has been working hard over the summer to prepare for the upcoming season.

Volleyball is a very demanding sport that requires a lot of time and effort, which is what the ladies on the team this year have been putting in. From tiring practices to tough competition, the girls are ready for whatever their opponents throw at them.

The girls on the Riverview volleyball team attended camp this summer in order to prepare for a successful season.

Jillian Bennett, a junior at Riverview and a member of the volleyball team, attended volleyball camp this summer and says she is excited for the upcoming season. When asked how the team would measure up to other teams in Florida this year, Bennett explained that the team was getting stronger and she believed that if they kept putting in the hard work they would go very far this season.
