Mother’s Day is coming up before we know it. Since last year's Mother’s Day occurred while everyone was still in quarantine, this year needs to be extra special. Here are a few ideas to surprise your mom or mother figure on Sunday, May 9:

Breakfast in bed. Wake up early and look up a quick recipe on YouTube or in a cookbook to make some breakfast for your hardworking mom.

Flowers. An easy but classic choice. Go to the store and pick up your mom’s favorite kind of flowers. Make sure to keep them watered!

Homemade dessert. A sweeter option for your sweet mom! Similar to the breakfast in bed, go on YouTube or to a cookbook to find a fun recipe and surprise your mom.

Do some chores! Although it may not be the most popular option, doing a few small tasks around the house will help your mom more than you can know.

Home-cooked dinner. For a mom that may cook often, she may appreciate help in the kitchen for dinner.

Handcrafted card. It may seem small, but a handmade card can show your time and effort invested in something count more than something that could easily be store bought.

Photo collage. Every mom loves her photos! Download a picture collage app such as pic collage and make a memorable collage!
